Students will engage in various activities to improve their summarization, paraphrasing, critical thinking and research, and essay-writing skills. Activities will include practicing revision, editing, and other writing skills. Students will also engage in peer review.
This course focuses on enhancing students' writing skills by exploring different types of writing. The objective is to develop advanced English writing skills that will enable students to write more advanced English compositions, such as essays and academic papers. To do this, students will improve not only their language use recognition in writing, but also their editing and polishing skills.
The final assignment will be a data commentary paper based upon a survey conducted in class.
